Icarus Win Hard Fought Cup
Tie
|
|
|
Daz Coleman popped up with the second goal to make the game safe
after Icarus had struggled to get into second gear this afternoon
against Old Thorntonians FC.
A poor first half was followed by a much improved second half
display. Lee Hodgkinson was brought down with 25 minutes to go
to give Icarus a penalty. Jim Schofield made no mistake from the
spot.
The last 20 minutes were much improved from Icarus and the most
important part of the day was to reach the semi final of the Cup.
This was done, but it was hard work!
