Icarus Senior Squad v RAF Digby

 
After winning the Burma Cup in the season opener in July, Icarus kicked off their pre-season proper with a comfortable win over Digby at RAF Wittering.  Jase Parr made a goal scoring return with a dominating performance in midfield and Stevie Nicholas got of to a great start with 3 goals himself.  Sean Tyers continued to impress and the new look back four was comfortable throughout.  Looking ahead to the Junior Cup Campaign, which he will lead this season, Scott Hyndman took charge of the team and he was pleased with the result but most importantly, the performance.
 
He said, “I'm delighted with the win today, but we played some very good passing football which I felt was the most positive take away from the day”.
