Jeff
Butler: Total
Icarus Caps 92 Goals 8
Jeff joined Icarus in 1999 and has played for
Icarus all over the world, including Holland, The Czech Republic
and the USA. The Butts has a tremendous left foot and his set
pieces are legendary. A fixture with the Vets side at left midfield
or left back, Jeff can still "do a job" for the First
Team when required! |

Garry
Ball: Caps 51 Goals 2
A talented full back, Garry is also a former manager of the
Vets Team. He is now the Deputy Chairman of the Club. Comfortable
on the ball, G-Bad can play anywhere. His reading of the game
is unsurpassed and his passing is always class. Garry has suffered
from a serious ankle injury over the past 18 months, but he
is on the road to regaining full match fitness. |

Ian
Heath: Caps
22 Goals 2
Ian has played
for Icarus for many years, but has only recently come back into
the fold after some time away. A strong central defender, Heathy
wins everything in the air and is comfortable with the ball
at his feet. |

Steve
Wood:
Caps 14 Goals: 9
Steve is new to Icarus this season, but has made a great start
with some superb midfield performances. He is extremely fit
and a strong runner from centre midfield. |

Si
Hays: Caps 49 Goals 13
Si is one of the most skillful players in the Club. He has suffered
from a number of injures that have curtailed his First Team
chances of late, but when fit there are not many better ball
players around. Last season he was the Vets top scorer by some
margin and he is hoping for more goals this season.

Paul
Barlow: Caps 126 Goals 7
PB is one of the longest serving members of Icarus. He has played
over 100 times for the Club and is one of the finest defenders
Icarus have produced over the years. Despite suffering from
a serious injury towards the end of last season, he is hoping
to get back onto the field of play before Christmas this season.

Rob
Swinney: Caps 171 Goals 14
Rob is literally a living Icarus Legend. He has been playing
for Icarus since the 1980s and is also as former Manager of
Icarus. A central midfielder in the mode of Bryan Robson in
his 20s, he moved back into central defence later in his career.
Even this season, Rob has put in the occasional First Team performance.

Neil
Smith: Caps:
4 Goals: 0
After a short
but successful spell in junior football, Smith experimented
with other sports and found success primarily in water sports.
His passion for the game has been unlocked again as he enters
veteranhood and Hetehrington's peerless ability to spot talent
now sees him honing his goalkeeping skills.

Dave
Bond: Caps: 39 Goals: 20
Bondy rejoined the squad this season after a 2 year absence.
He has started the season on fire, scoring some vital goals,
non more so than the 2 he scored in the Cup against the Civil
Service in extra time. Bondy is an experienced forward who is
a fox in the box. He can also hold the ball up well and bring
others into the game. Bondy has taken over as the Vets Manager
for the new season.

Stu
Lindsay: Caps: 55 Goals: 11
Known as "Mr Chairman" to the younger players, Stu has perfected
the holding midfield. Stu always plays simple football and his
contribution on the field in some massive games has been immense.
Off the field he has taken the Club forward light years. Despite
a number of injuries he played a full part in his Station side
Uxbridge reaching a cup final and gaining promotion last season.

Dinger
Bell : Caps: 7 Goals: 1
The big man started the season on fire, coming off the bench
to grab a goal and the man of the match against Lyneham Vets.
He can play anywhere on the park and after joining Icarus last
season he wants to make a big impression in 2008/09. |

Gary
McIntosh: Caps: 34 Goals: 2
Tosh is an experienced defender who can play at full back or
centre half. The Scottish Superstar is a popular member of the
squad and has recently taken on the role of Director of Coaching.
Calm on the ball and dominant in the air, Tosh is a class act.
He will be putting the squad though their paces on this season's
Tour. In a former life, Tosh coached the RAF under 25 team.

Neil
Jones: Caps: 49 Goals: 0
Jonah is the General Manager for the RAF RT. A confident and
experienced goalkeeper, Neil was the answer to the Icarus Vets
goalkeeping prays when he made his comeback last season. He
is now the undisputed number one!

Eddie
Roughsedge: Caps 119 Goals 7
Eddie joined Icarus in 1984 and has played in almost every position.
One of the most respected figures in the Club, the Roughmiester
has the fitness of a 25 year old and the determination to match.

Pullen: Caps:

JP is one of the legends in the Club - a former manager and
founder of the Vets Team, Pullen is a big target man with an
eye for goal. This season sees him making his comeback after
3 years in the wilderness. He will be a massive asset, both
on and off the pitch!

Mike
Greenway:
Caps 15 Goals 1
Mike is the Legel Beagle and a skillful player to boot. He
joined Icarus last season and can play anywhere in midfield
or at full back. Mike came 3rd in the player of the tour award
in Germany.

Farrell:

Mike is the Club Doctor and a top player as well. He joined
Icarus in 2005 and can play anywhere in midfield, full back
or up front. |

Teo
Bradley: Caps 7 Goals 1
Teo joined Icarus last year hoping to prolong his career with
the Vets. The only Rock Ape currently playing for Icarus and
having spent most of his football career at full back he has
had a new lease of life in the centre of midfield for Icarus.
Teo is a tough tackler who is not afraid to put it in where
it hurts! |

Ady
Morris: Caps 6 Goals 0
Ady Joined Icarus last season and made his debut against HAC
in March. A versatile player, Ady can play anywhere, from
full back to forward. He played many successful seasons of
station football and brings bags of experience to the squad.
