Renders joined the RAF in June 2007. He initially played football for the RAF College whilst on IOT and he played against the RN College and the German Air Force College.

Upon graduation he made his Icarus debut against the RLC TA in February 2008 followed by Sheff Utd in July.

A pacey left footer Renders is now a first team regular. He is due to make his return from injury in October.
