Introducing the Committee The committee comprises passionate football men of all officer ranks and experience; each covering responsibilities as diverse as sponsorship to coaching and financial management to team selection. For over 50 years, officers have given up their own time to ensure that their Club is not only successful on the field but is a welcoming and social environment off it. Indeed, once a member of Icarus, you're a member for life. Members of the committee are voted in by members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which usually takes place at RAF Halton in July. The AGM is an opportunity for all members of the Club to air their views and put forward ideas to take Icarus forward. The coaching staff and other member of the Club work together to take the Club forward at all times.
